Update of my enclosure. 2 Pothos, a Schefflera, and a ficus benjamina. I have a Boston fern that is pretty big I was thinking about splitting up but I’m not sure what I should do with it. So far I have just left it out. My baby veiled chameleon from FL chams should be here on Wednesday, we’re...
I think I’m going to scrap the whole idea. I can still smell the epoxy after it has cured. Lol, If I were a chameleon I wouldn’t want my house to be smelling like epoxy!
Does anybody know if I can use this? I know it’s toxic while wet. But not sure after it cures. I cut that flower pot apart and made it smaller. I used the JB Weld to reattach the pieces. Now I’m thinking it might be a bad idea? I’m having a hard time finding the right size plant containers.
@cyberlocc thank you for the detailed explanation! I was worried about the beamsworks maybe being too bright for the chameleon lol, I guess not. I have two questions what do you mean by 6500k “flo”?<— I am infamilar with that term. And do you know of any good how to informative sites that...
Highway61, I’m not so worried about the Pothos down low as it doesn’t need a whole lot of light but I don’t have any experience with ficus or Schefflera. The top cross member is 11.5” from the top of the cage.
Thanks I have on order a Flukers 8.5" Ceramic Clamp Lamp and Exo Terra 75 watt Daylight Basking Spot bulb to go in it for heat. And for uvb I got the 30” zoo med repti-sun 5.0
I am brand new at this hobby I am trying to get my enclosure right before I get a chameleon to go into it. I have one of these lights from an old fish aquarium setup. I grew live plants with it in the aquarium. My question is can I use this light to grow plants in my chameleon enclosure? Will it...
Does anyone know about “Vitis riparia” I didn’t see it on the safe plant list? It grows wild all over in my area and seems like it would be a great natural vine.
This is for a veiled from FLChams. I want to get a baby from the naval bloodline.I’m a first timer, I wanted a decent cage, and a little bigger than what I was seeing online and in the stores. It is 54” tall+12” legs x 30” wide x 20”deep.
