I would recommend keeping the lay box in 24/7. It can really depend on how long they can last with how strong they are. I would just recommend trying to find an experienced reptile vet as soon as possible. The list I posted earlier has reptile vets that can help
Vets can preform a surgery to remove the eggs and spay her, but it can be very risky and expensive, up to a few thousand dollars. And unfortunately, if they don’t get removed then it’s usually fatal. As of right now, does she have a lay bin in her cage?
Oh I lm so sorry this is happening and I would say she is chock full of eggs, and declining with her eyes closed during the day. I’ve attached a vet list and would recommend getting to a vet asap as it’s very very likely she is egg bound...
Thank you for all of the advice!!! She seems to be gripping very well! I’m thinking about ordering some more silkworms but am having issues connecting/loading up framschams website…. Is anyone else having that problem?
The swelling is the same, I’m hoping that if all goes well we can maybe go to the vet and see if any antibiotics may help (possible infection was talked about last visit). As for gular edema, she got some in November last year when she first went receptive, and it really never fully went away...

Hopefully all goes well!!!! Come on Nachito lay those eggs!!
I’m so sorry for your loss. From the sound of it he has definitely passed, sometimes their colors are strange afterword. Sending all the hugs and love 💗 🫂
Also I’m wondering @MissSkittles and @Sonny13, I know this has been answered already, but is it normal and correlate with egg producing that Nachito doesn’t finish her meals? She has been eating just about half of what I’ve been giving her (usually a mix of 4 bugs, hornworms, silkworms and...
While I don’t have a male chameleon and don’t know much about it, I believe that looks like a sperm plug. @MissSkittles and @Beman you both have boys, any advice?
Hello everyone!!! I hope you are all doing well! I would love some advice on this situation I have! So I’m moving to college in just under two weeks 😱 and my spicy girl Nachito is coming with me! Recently she had some signs of being receptive and if I’ve added the dates up correctly 🤔, then if...
