oh and if you want me to do so called reaserch send me links to web sites.. not past topics on the forums.. being im so poorly educated in chameleons...there is no proof anywhere that they do not breed in the wild.. to cover it up.. all you P.H.D people judt give the new species a name...
i didnt have to read all the posts.. why should i when the first 20 agree with me.. im proud of you to of gone to school and received a phd... quite frankly im not impressed... new species just dont appear.. they have to be breed.. point blank.. in the wild it does happen.. obviously a nosey...
here is another i copied.. if your going to tell me to DO RESERCH send me some actual links not tutarials from others that agree with me..here is the sentance i just copied...:eek:There's nothing actually bad about breeding different panther locals together. Its just the some people very...
Granted the only proof we have that its not happening is that we dont see them in the trade, and dont read about the new discoveries.... it most likely happening in the wild..just not being named to the locale..how do you think species come about... i mean seriously.. an egg just doesnt...
:Dwhats up im a small time breeder.. i have 2 males and 2 females.. each female lays average 30 eggs..and then some.. to get started i would keep your pair.. maybe add 1 female to the mix.. that way you will always have a female layin a clutch..remember you need incubators that can handle temp...
understandable... yes i have heard of people getting so called screwed when lied to by others.. when i sell my chams they come with date born... sire and dame bloodlines.. all on a card.. marked morph cross breed.. im an honest seller and if someone else buys and sell my lines under false info...
ive never heard of any crosses being ill due to being a cross/morph.. i personally breed ambilobe..to ambilobe.. but also have a male ambanja that i breed to my other ambilobe female.. with the intent of creating crosses.. yes some look bland.. but crossing them also produces amaizing colors...
this is nikko he is my best male ambanja.. age is roughly 12-13 months.. healthy and a great breeder..looking to trade for a 8-13 month male ambilobe or sambava.. equal quality.. have been told to post him for $400 but rather trade.. shoot me trade offers.
congrats on the new addition.. welcmome to the cham family..lol.. what did you order?/ im sure if you have any questions we all will be happy to help you
i agree with carol.... supers and other mealies are ok but sparingly.... wax worms would be easier to digest.... but also sparingly... you might want to try blur bottle flys.. i have a few thousand i just release a few in the cage a day..mixxed in with my crickets..
i use hatch rite myself.. i go to the dallar store and pick up the little 2 inch deap tubs that are 4x6.. they hold 20-30 eggs easy...poke a few small holes ... you can incubate in a tub without incubator.. use a heating pad.. under tub.. in closet.. not ideal.. or the best way. but done...
ive heard of the mister not pumping to well.. i personally use a 5 gal bucket and my mistking.. i love it.. have it set on a seconds timmer.. it sprays 8 times a day.. 20-30 each time.. make sure your misters hit your plants very well... get that humidty up.. keep them watered..good luck.. oh...
the only time you really need to worry about them getting screen stuck is when they are young.. im talking 2 onths and under.. they can get their tails and nails stuck.. but usually not an issue.. if your cham is a few months old, your just fine.. all of my cages are small screen..
