Keep in mind that when you buy wood from lowes you automatically get a certain number of free cuts, if you have your cage spec'd out and know all the measurements, having an employee at lowes make the cuts for you saves a ton of time. Basically you would need to just cut the screen to fit...

Rad post, just wanted to ask if the pond foam is similar to the regular yellow expanding foam, can it be carved and sanded fairly easy? Whats the brand name of the one your using, couldn't make out the typography on the turquoise pond foam can. Thanks and awesome work!

there was a similar post to this about 2 weeks back, the person who posted the thread eventually used a q-tip to gently, very gently, massage the lump out of the eye (though it did look smaller than this one so I wouldn't try anything myself) and once it popped out it was a tiny lima bean...
