This bulb I got is uva/uvb and the guy from zoomed said it also emits enough heat to for basking, but I was doubtful of that

good advice, I love everything my parents do for me and don't hold it against them for not wanting me to get one yet, and ps I have started getting the setup, Ive bought a couple schefflera and ficus, and will be building a custom cage soon, look out for a post on that, I'm pretty creative ;)
