I have a 18" x 18" x 36" cage for my one year old male panther chameleon. On here loads of people are telling me it is too small. But I have been on tonnes of websites and they all say that is fine. So do I really need to make it any bigger? Please appreciate the fact that I am in the UK...

I'm thinking of buying that mesh and using PVC poles for the frame. Unsure if that's gonna work though :confused:

ok thanks, but I think where you live, flexariums are cheaper. The 260 gallon one I was going to get will cost me £74 plus £10 postage. :(

hmm I would like to be able to see him easily. I also don't like the way the flexarium opens. Perhaps I will pass on that then... those aliminium cages aren't cheap :( This is soo frustrating. Also, Calvin is a mesh climber. But.. he hasn't broken any claws yet. Maybe I just need to add...

I have wanted to build a bigger enclosure for my chameleon for a while, not only because people on here are telling me to but he also wants to get out all the time, so it must be too small for him. Instead of buying a bigger one (they are hard to find in the UK!) I want to build onto the cage...

I find it so hard to get a 'natural' background because there is no natural light where my cham's cage is. :(
