Dead skin should naturally fall off. Around the face and eyes take longer to peel off naturally.
I don’t know if my method is correct. Sometime I spray the cage and gently spray on and off around my chameleon. Just to allow the dead skin to hydrate and dry off to allow it to lift off eventually.
Well I did end up ordering Cryptolaemus montrouzieri instead. I didn’t think my chameleon would try to eat them. But he ate some. No ill effects. Most are doing their job of eradicating the mealybugs. However I seem to lost a lot of them dying though.
