Yeah I got him fairly recently from fauna from a guy in Brooklyn, he was not in very good shape when I got him, and his condition got worse with stress
I was referring to injecting the feeders I would never touch my Cham with a needle
I've done some reading on canv and it's scary stuff, it even appeared in some ppl who were HIV positive... Yikes
I will try the lotrimin, mabye I'll try also injecting the grapefruit seed extract as well and really give this a go and see how it work before giving into the huge vet bill
Thanks for the advice so far,
****Let me say that its not a superficial coloring, the SCALES THEMSELVES are discolored, when he shows stressed colors the brown spots turn white, they are part of his skin***
I believe it to be a fungus, I just don't see burns happening like this...
apologies for being brash I just need some treatment ideas
ITS NOT A BURN. it wouldn't be spreading and a lil spot on it's knee wouldn't just come from a burn, just trust me that im fairly certain they aren't burns since they are sporatic in position and coming up new daily.
I believe it's...

She has undigested food in her pooop, she is dehydrated most likely, i dont see you listed your misting schedule but i'd check your humidity and up the amount of water.
Mine is cb, I had two of them and sold one to my friend, should've kept em
I got them from a guy who was moving and had to get rid of em, not a dealer.
And yes I shower with mine lol, he needs 45 minutes of hydration chamber, so I have a lil vine that he hops on and I walk over to the...
I bought a CB meller off fauna classifieds about a month ago for $100
He was very sick (Necrosis, Bacterial infections, Parasites) not in good shape,
I have been nursing him back to health with panacure, some experimental treatments, and eventually baytril when my treatment continues...
Looks like your meller has a damaged nose, mine does as well and I can't tell if it's from rubbing or if there is something wrong. He has a tad bit of necrosis but is otherwise ok
eric... from chameleons101.com
honestly the best decision i made in my entire cham obsession, the man not only gave me my beautiful male panther, but he also is there literally at any time even incredibly late or early to answer questions or give me help.
And when you speak to him, you...
Well said carlton... the key is definitely escape. I think it all stems from being able to make real choices that a wild animal would do in a space where it can come and go as it pleases, or conceal itself at will.
I just would never do it differently, once i switched over, I felt bad that I...
what a great photo....
jann and olimpia i always enjoy hearing your feedback, always objective and always have something nice to add.
*For me... keeping chameleons makes most sense to simulate their natural environment as best as possible. I do this with no cage, free water flowing around...
That's fantastic, lots of cool things people do i guess.
It's interesting to me because my meller is gigantic, he is diesel, and my panther is just a lil guy, they couldn't be any more different. yet they like gravitate to the same trees all the time. Just interesting i guess.
Glad to hear...
Ok, let me preface this by saying I am well aware of the dangers and hazards this can create, however I do not wish to discuss that
I have a mellers that recently moved into my amilobe panther free range; which consists of 3 basking lights, 3 6ft bush plants, endless vines and ropes, and an...
I actually just did this. I bought a melleri and turned an entire closet into a free range cage, which he loves. I'll upload pictures soon....look for a post called Apartment Free Range soon.
If you want to be able to handle him u must hand feed. Get over ur fear of touching the insects and just do it... It takes time to get used to it but it's a small sacrifice to make to gain the trust of ur Cham
Mine was scared to death of me, after hand feeding and a few weeks of constant...
eric from chameleons101. that's my dude, you can tell the guy loves chameleons just by talking to him, he gets all excited describing em. I have the same love for them now..... he's great, i send him pictures and update him on my guy all the time.
