Yes T5HO is still best for UVB light. LED has caught up on plant growth lighting. And you still need a basking lamp too.

    Trapped!

I used to fast my female veiled in order to combat the constant egg production. Will fast him tomorrow, then feed him Wednesday and see if that sparks his appetite. Maybe he is taking the overabundance of feeders for granted  Also need to get some worms and snails to give him more...

    Trapped!

Thanks for the feedback. This is what I thought. There is no female around. I always thought to wait until a year old to start fasting every other day, but will try it now to see if that helps. The temps are 86 degrees in basking spot. he is in a heavily planted enclosure, both outdoor and...

    new reptisun LED UVB fixture

LED does not produce UVB. However they are great for plant growth and are not too bright for chams. I have one in my setup. For UVB, stick with T5HO linear fluorescents from lightyourreptiles.com

DIY Living Wall Turtorial with PICTURES

You see these with the frogger people, but rarely with cham enclosures. Nice to see this being used for a cham. Good job! I am in the process of building a custom fully planted terrarium, and trying to keep it cham safe. Will be stealing some of your ideas
