Is there anyone that has any suggestions on the best place to buy a dubia roach starter colony?

What is her basking spot temp? That bulb seems like a bit of overkill. I have a ambilobe and only use a 60 watt basking bulb. I'm no expert but thats my opinion. Could you add pics?

We realeased them into a sectioned off portion of the tank their jar was in, we lost a bunch because they went between the glass and the spong filter. we still have about 50, they are eating brine shrimp. hopefully nothing else bad happens

Just an FYI, we bought a Spawn Rearing Jar from Angels Plus and let it "season" inside a community tank for about 6 weeks and that jar is the only reason, or so we think, that we actually have a succesful batch of babies. Funny enough our platy just had 30 plus live babies and we are thinking...

Thats unbeleivable i have had 3 batches of eggs and 0 success rate, until this current batch they are 10 days old.

yes its weird...lol... and may be potentialy dangerous. if the dish is big enough he or she may fall in and drown or get bacteria from standing water

I bought my panther from screameleons and also thought about the kit, but i went with the full size reptibreeze and sectioned it off with a divider so he could only use half of it till he was big enough

I bought a retibreeze and I personally dont like it. it is very cheaply made for the price, and thats why i am currently building my own design.

I would lose the sand and go with paper towel on the bottom to soak up the excess water or maybe make a screen covered water catch for the excess water if you want to avoid the paper towel look. I also just noticed the bucket in there already, I'm assuming thats to catch water? Either way you...
