Thanks guys, I'm again grateful to have found this forum, I've always had geckos before this and they generally (at least the one's I've owned) don't get a rip about newcomers. I guess I'll wait and see how he is tomorrow, maybe if he sleeps on it, and wakes up with nothing changed he'll simmer...
A lot of the posts I've read in the health clinic seem to point to being at the bottom of a cage as a sign of illness, that's why I was worried, I'm glad to hear that it might be okay.
Well, he can certainly see the cage, but I doubt he can see the actual gecko itself. My mossy tail is nocturnal and sleeps against the underside of a branch, he won't move unless I take him out or mist him directly. I guess I might have to consider moving my gecko out of my room if this behavior...
Hi all,
I'm not sure if I'm being an over-reactive "parent" or if I have a legitimate concern but I'm going to ask anyway, because this has been going on since early afternoon and doesn't appear to be stopping soon.
I just got my baby ambilobe male from the Kammers last Tuesday, up until...
Definitely agree. Looks like a baby silverfish. It could be a house centipede, but again, nothing to worry about those are pretty awesome as they eat silverfish and other "pests".
So I finally got pictures of my little N'kulu.
He is a Kammers boy whose sire is Hazo-Matoatoa (Tree Ghost), he arrived at 9:32 this morning but was yo-yoing between his food dish and his little fortress of "safety" inside his ficus tree for most of the day. I am pleased to note that although I...
The tube that came with my little dripper from zoo-med was curled slightly and refused to flatten out. So I simply picked an appropriate height above my golden pothos plant and poked a hole through the side screen with my Gerber multi-tool. I made sure to poke from the inside out to ensure the...
I'm a member of the art site "DeviantART" and this was posted recently by another member...I just had to share it given the discussion about "Rango" and "Pascal" :D
It is the tree I see most recommended on the forum, I would at this point consider it (and ficus benjamina (the weeping fig)) to be a chameleon staple, from the information I got on it from the people here it is what I intend to get once my baby cham is a little bigger. I believe I read...
Well, you and Carol have been very help and I'm glad that my money wasn't completely wasted on all these different supplements I bought before I knew better >_<. This forum is truly amazing, I'm so glad I found it :D.
Thank you Sandra,
One thing, when you say "spoonfuls" do you mean a standard tablespoon (like a measuring spoon, not a silverware spoon) or a little smaller?
Thanks Carol, that was basically what I was confused on. I couldn't understand why I needed TWO multivitamins. So as long as I have my multivitamin, a source of D3, and regular no D3/no phosphorous calcium, I should be good?
Hello everyone,
This will hopefully be my final question to the forum for a while, over the course of the last month, I was very busy gathering the supplies needed to ensure that I was thoroughly prepared for the arrival of my baby cham from the Kammers :). In my last e-mail conversation with...
