Is it me or does she kind of look thin. I feel like maybe she isn’t eating enough. From what I have read and seen on many peoples posts, most Chams eat between 7-10 crickets/ Dubai’s every day unless they are sick. I could be wrong but that’s what my gut tells me.
I wanted to grab some branches from out side but I don’t have a big enough over to bake them and I feel like if I just let them sun dry then pests can come back on to them
Is there a way to make bamboo rods easier for Chams to grip on to them? I was thinking of maybe sanding them with large grit sand paper to make grooves in them but I didn’t know if the would harm the Chams or not.
The lights are on top of the enclosure. The uvb bulb is a 10.0. The enclosure is 4’x3’x3’. I’m not looking to use live plants only fake plants cuz the room I have them in is also a nursery for other plants I keep it very sterile in that room and I don’t want to risk introducing pests
Ok so I think I’m getting closer to being done with my veild Chams enclosure. I still need to fill in the bottom with more fake plants but just can’t figure out what. To top it off all my local stores have very little selection for fake plants. What do you guys think will he like it the way it...
I don’t yet I’m getting everything I need for one first then letting the enclosure run for a week or two so I can dial everything in. But I’m in a toss up between a veiled or a Jackson’s.
ok so I went to my lps and I have been looking at the uvb bulbs that are t8’s. The only thing I can find is bulbs that have uvb and uva. Is this normal? When I look at drsfostersmith the uvb bulbs on there have no uva so I’m kind of confused.
Ok now I’m stuck on a type of screen to use for the outside of the enclosure. Could I use window screen? I know I should use a type of metal screen for the top for the lights.
