Do you guys fill your mistkings with water from your fridges, a faucet with a purifier, or just use those little packets like what comes with drippers like the big dripper?
Thanks!
What do you guys recommend? Using a brand such as that where it can be used a few times a week or having two seperate brands (one with calcium with d3 and one without and a seperate multivitamin)?
I got the extreme large chameleon kit with the "Zoo Med Calcium w/ D3" and he told me to use it 3 times a week. I'm more than happy with the Cham I received from him. That was the only thing that kind of pushed me away from ordering another from him(even though I won't be buying a second one for...
If you get anything to work for you let me know because thus far I've had no success with it. I just hold a hornworm (seems to be his favorite) in the enclosure near him for up to 15 minutes and wait for him to hit it which is what I've been advised to do! Even though he hasn't yet I'm not...
I got one that I've had for about 6 weeks now and he's doing great! Only thing that makes me unsure about them is I asked Mike how often to dust insects and he told me 3 times a week with calcium with d3(which seems like way too much d3 although I'm no expert). Other than that my guy seems super...
I don't have any hibiscus in my enclosure, also I don't see any white film on the underside of leaves but there is one leaf that has gotten really white on the pothos but I just thought it was normal. I can post a picture of the leaf later and look for the insects again for a better inspection.
They could be but they look more of a grey color. I haven't seen them since but are they harmful to a chameleon? How can I get rid of them Without having to get new plants?
So yesterday I found a tiny centipede looking thing on my leg which made me think the pothos and umbrella plant in my enclosure is where they came from. This morning I looked under the plant pots and saw one tiny moth and another that flew off of the pothos plant. I was wondering if anyone had...
I
I only saw one on each plant so I'm not too sure how man there are. Any suggestions to get rid of them and any other possibly insects from the plants? I think I'm going to take them out later and soak them in water and organic soap for about 20 minutes to drown or at least force to the...
Just curious how should they be moved? I'm going to be moving in a few months and am unsure yet how to get him from point a to point b other than just holding him the whole ride.
Also there's a ton of different recommendations for supplements and I am no expert whatsoever but I've been dusting calcium with d3 once every two weeks and the week I don't dust with d3 I dust with a multivitamin spent supplement.
There should be more vines for walkways around the enclosure for them to get around and regulate their temperature and more leaves for water to land on when misted. How long did you mist for? Make sure it's for a couple of minutes to mimic rainfall. Do you have any pictures of the chameleons...
Hmmm I agree parasites but a picture of the Cham and enclosure would help. Also I wouldn't handle them at all for at least a week just so they can settle in. My Cham didn't eat for three days when he moved in but after that he slowly got an appetite. Also make sure you're using small enough...
