Yep about 5 days from pupae to flies. Found they keep for about a week at a time on the BB fly food from mantidpets.com and I use the cricket water gel for hydration. My Jackson goes nuts for flies.
thanks for the info. so how do you care for a spike differently than a pupae.
about all i understand is the pupae can be put in a container with appropriate food and water sources and it will hatch out flies. am i correct? how many flies come out of one pupae generally?
My Jackson chameleon I acquired from a customer of mine. He had a Gracie female unknowningly. Came he one day and had babies. So it's only 2 months old. Can we tell sex yet. It does have the horns on its head. I'm hoping male.
