Does she look healthy including poop image

Ok go back to the revitalise D3. Your calcium with D3 is missing other vitamins like vitamin A. Your UVB is on point enough to not stress using it. Use this every 8 days. Follow the cycle I posted for you. Temps at 26c are good. She is just going to try to get high. But ambient temps with...

    Help traumatic transport

I’ll try, I’ve put silk works, wax worms, an hornworm, and a super worm on his nose and got nothing. I hate dealing with the crickets, they get everywhere! I unfortunately am going to move his enclosure again. Both my enclosures are in my dining room and I’m afraid it’s too much foot...

Potential RSHP in male panther chameleon - immediate help requested

On a side note, do you have a suggestion on a good place to order silkworms? They don’t sell them at my local reptile store and I feel like every time I order them from Josh’s Frogs they’re not in good shape when they arrive. They’ve been hard for me to find which is why I haven’t fed them too...

Potential RSHP in male panther chameleon - immediate help requested

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and providing some small tweaks. I’m reassured knowing that my husbandry isn’t causing this. I love him so much and I’m trying everything I can possibly think of. The renovations were for our kitchen & master bath. Both were completely gutted...

    Green Mold in Superworm Culture

I keep my crickets on a paper towel substrate for easy cleaning and put their food on something like a paper plate or similar. For superworms I keep them on wheat bran, which they eat and then I’ll give just small slices of a lower moisture veggie, like carrot, squash, sweet potato to hydrate...

SWFL Cricket Keepers- Show me your containers!

I had tried keeping my crickets bioactive with dwarf white isopods and springtails. Stupid crickets ate every last isopod. Where are you that it’s a challenging climate? I’m in central Florida. The bugs I want to breed I keep in the garage for the warmth.

Help me please!! My veiled chameleon hasn’t eaten and her eyes have been closed for a week!!

I am using a calcium with D3 twice a month and without D3 for every feeding. The main thing here is that her eyes have been closed for multiple weeks and I have been trying to figure out what is this issue causing this since we don’t have any vet near. I think since she has been keeping her...

    New owners! First Veiled chameleon!

I don't want to detract you from ehdee's husbandry form, but I will also add, on top of the image of feeders they shared, here is a helpful guide for gutloading said feeders. Now, bugs like silkworms and hornworms often come with their own chow, wax worms are fed before purchasing, and some...

    Gutloading Schedule?

I'll keep that in mind. I currently use repashy bug burger and/or this roach chow to sustain the roaches. Does that sound alright? On top of feeding the selected roaches for a couple hours on my gutload cube?

    Opinion on a rescued veiled

When he does poop before you make him a super involved set up it may be a good idea to get him screened for parasites

Yeah, I haven’t seen him open his mouth at all after that first day… tommorrow I’ll try using the syringe again for him to maybe open his mouth ( maybe put water in there? ) and try to out the cricket or mealworm into his mouth. He’s been acting not normal and he has just been hiding in his...

    How best to keep crickets?

For optimal care of crickets, it's crucial to maintain a spacious enclosure with good ventilation to prevent humidity buildup and ensure air circulation. Provide a suitable substrate, such as coconut fiber or paper towels, for comfort and ease of cleaning. A balanced diet rich in protein and...

    I’m breeding crickets

I’m tired of over spending for these little guys between my chameleon and beardies. I just pulled their old lay bin out it has thousands of eggs. I’ve got them incubating at 88 degrees and just set up a new laying bin. They have access to unlimited food and water in this bin. Shortly I’ll have...

    Keeping crickets alive

Spike has gone through phases where he didn't eat silkworms (for like a week), he always tends to go for crickets regardless. And always eats BSFL+flies. But yeah he won't do Dubias either, or superworms. I have a very clean way to keep my crickets. I just use a big plastic storage...

    Keeping crickets alive

Yeah that’s basically how I kept them but I was putting too many in at a time. I was using a 10 gallon tank and getting 100 crickets at a time. This was before I knew I had to feed my Cham less haha. So when I try next I’m only going to buy like 25 or so and see how that goes.

Food Dilemma, won’t eat roaches and silkworms won’t be here until midweek

I would just buy Petsmart crickets. I am in a similar situation. My order from Dubia will not come until tomorrow. Honestly I am nervous with them using USPS. Next time I am going to ask if they can upgrade to UPS or FedEx for next time Ordering. I had my brother to buy some crickets and...
