    Finally!

I like silk worms for treat bugs, though many people use horned worms. They just grow too fast for me!

    Dubia Escapee

Shadow of the Colossus music starts playing See, they feeder buggies are in their own little habitats where you interact with them on your own terms. Random bug flying outside that has the potential to bite or poke you? Well, not as loveable, I'm afraid 😅

Meet Atlas Orion, My First Ambilobe Panther Chameleon

...the reasoning behind recommendations rather than just memorizing a checklist. Atlas is just under 7 months old and has a healthy appetite for Dubia and red runner roaches, with the occasional super worm... If he's feeling it... I've attached a couple of photos of Atlas and his enclosure. I...

Is there any way to get rid of the cricket stink?

Crickets are super easy to breed, too easy as I’ve learned. I had a few banded crickets get loose and end up in my tortoises enclosure (open top) and they bred and I had a bunch of free pinheads for my jumping spood, I did get rid of them all eventually because they were so loud, being in my...

feeding chameleons exclusively on silk worms?

I used to feed her only crickets as she was growing still but she finished her 3rd shed so I now mix crickets, silkworms and often times hornworms as she won't eat them everyday as she only sees them as a treat, but I gut load all my insects with carrots, blueberries, raspberries and sometimes...

Three things about Antwan that worry me…

That's super disappointing! Especially with all the hard work it takes to find/ship them. Hopefully you can get them to breed and maybe you can get some smaller ones he might like? They sure like to keep us on our toes with love and worry lol! It's great to see he's doing well, I hope you keep...

    3 month old panther chameleon

Put them all in the feeder run in the morning so if you normally do 30 then add all then. this gives baby all day to digest. I would not bother with fruit flies at this point he is not a hatchling anymore. What size insects are you feeding right now? 1/4 inch?

I will never forget when you sent me the huge roaches and I about died opening the container. They were the largest dubia I had seen and I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. You were like oh those are small... NOT.

    I’m nervous/a little worried

...but the last one had a bit of a stank smell to it. The urates looked good though, like 90% white and a bit of orange on the end. He was eating dubia roaches and super worms for a few weeks there because I had to order some more bsfl, not sure if there was too much chitin for his digestive...

    Appetite Loss— Help!

Right now, I only have Dubias and Superworms on hand (mediums, since I refuse to buy large ones and risk mouth rot). Every time I go out, I can never seem to find horned worms. How do I get him to gape…? 😅

    Chameleon not eating

...got her crickets ( I haven’t been feeding her crickets hoping she might be interested in something different). She is normally fed Hornworms (treat) dubias, silkworms when I can get them, soldier fly larvae and wax worms. I am hoping she may eat something today. I am afraid she is shutting down.

    Always seeming stressed

Thank you for the feedback I’ll definitely send a sample to a vet. I feed him 10 bugs everyday (5 crickets, 4 dubia roaches, and 1 silkworm). He usually eats all of them so idk if I should be feeding him more.

Prepping for Pet Sitter to tend to Cham

...of using deli cups, with gut load jelly in each container. Put a date on each one so all the sitter would need to do is dump the feeders for the day into a dusting cup and dump them into the feeder run. I am pretty sure most people would cut and run if I asked them to open the dubia colony.

Trying to get him on Dubia roaches

Hi! I know this thread is old, but I just came across it. I was wondering how these screen feeders are? I currently feed mine from a little clear jello plastic cup that's placed in the middle of a plant. Would it be okay for me to switch to a screen feeder? Do you think he would find his food...

Does she look healthy including poop image

...that day, they sorted us right out with a corner sofa, might be doing the same tomorrow at this rate, but yes thank you, I'll mix silkworms, dubias and crickets in together in the morning, I'm now concerned because I have about 6 crickets in her enclosure that I couldn't catch and worried...

Now I’m really getting nervous. (Still haven’t seen a poo)

Zero substrate and strictly live plants in the enclosure. I’ve been feeding a mix of dubia roaches, bsfl, super worms and in the last week I got some hornworms for him. The last poo he had was mostly white with the very end of the urste was a tiny bit orange, and the poo itself was really hard...
