My crickets keep dying. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Skittles. I wish my chameleon would eat Dubia. There are still Dubias living in his bioactive terrarium from like 3 months ago when I last tried to get him to eat them. Am I feeding the crickets correctly? Should I give them any other foods?

    Puffy eyes

She is 7 months old. All her lights are 5-6 months old. She chows down on Dubai roaches. When I watch her eat she is very enthusiastic about it. So you said don’t buy the turtle drops and instead buy repti rinse? What’s in that? Can I just mist her eye over the sink and see if I can get all the...

Trying to get him on Dubia roaches

Feeder runs with a screen back get the roaches climbing up where they attract more attention. I also hand feed dubia by flipping them on their back in a spoon. They wave their legs a lot trying to flip over and that kind of motion draws a chameleon. It's how I start all my babies on dubia. Using...

    Appetite Loss— Help!

Well, with my veiled girl Stella, all I have to do is get near her and she gapes at me. My boy Lucky used to if I got a hand too close, but having to hand feed him due to poor vision, he’s used to me now and it takes trying to pick him up to get him to gape. He can go a while without eating, so...

    3 month old panther chameleon

Ok I thought so too. that's usually 2 times a day I forgot to mention. But I will give him more. He also gets a bunch of flightless fruit flies. I do order the feeders from dubia and premium crickets.

...were. Seeing a bit more fullness to the casque as well. This is the progress I was hoping to see. If 4-8 a day is what he wants that is perfectly fine. When you add in the wax and silkworms make sure you are still adding in dubia. You want hard body feeders mixed in so he does not get the runs.

    Dying plants, any suggestions?

...and on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I give maybe 2 crickets with 2 other feeders, like silkworms, discoid roaches (I’m in Florida where dubia are illegal) or maybe 3+ bsfl. Some infrequent times, I’ll use ‘treat’ insects like a superworm or wax worm as a single staple feeder - I think...

    Anyone up?

I don’t really have the option to feed the in the afternoon on a normal day due to working 2pm-10pm, I need to get serious with my guy and dubia roaches. He’s addicted to the bsfl and likes crickets but I’m gonna have to only give him the option of dubias for like a week and I think he’ll start...

I think my guy is dying, I'm so sad!

...husband came into the living room and said calmly "one of your roaches escaped and is on the bedroom floor." and I ran in an scooped it up the dubia and put it back in it's bin. And we laughed at the weird situation where it was no big deal to pick up a roach in your bedroom with your bare hands.

How to label a box to ship dubia roaches

Does anyone know if there is a place to get a properly labeled box to ship dubia roaches in? Eustis is leaving tomorrow and I have a small dubia colony that I want to give away.

    Appetite Loss— Help!

VERY CAREFUL FORCING WATER! They can aspirate it so you have to be extremely cautious with this as their airway is in the front of the mouth and throat is all the way at the back. So do not just squirt it into the mouth.

    Dusting wingless fruit flies

...Looks to be older than 3 months so these feeders would be very small and not worth feeding as they just dont provide enough nutritional value for a larger baby. I would stick to tiny crickets, 1/8 inch dubia, small silkworms, and bsfl. That way baby gets used to diverse feeder options as well.
