    Bioactive Enclosure Curiosity

    ...population, and are primarily active at night. The few that my chameleons may catch makes no difference to the isopod numbers and has no effect on my chams’ weights. I see it as enrichment/natural hunting behavior. It’s hard to entertain a chameleon, so I think it’s great that they hunt.

    I agree with the above, I am guessing he is just looking outside and isn't actually sad. If you think about it, its good safe enrichment for him to see things like that and still be physically safe.

    Agree with Eliza. BSFL are easier to keep than crickets, healthier feeder too. The flies also provide great hunting enrichment.
