    dark chameleon

...The mealworms should be stopped altogether. You can feed crickets, dubia roaches, silkworms, black soldier fly larvae, also known as calciworms, and as treats you can feed hornworms, superworms, and waxworms. As for cage recommendation the reptibreeze xl is relatively cheap and is the...

Is this possible? Did I do the wrong thing?

Thanks everyone. Trouble with my phone so excuse delays. Hatty usually has about 5-6 4th gen brown crickets per day and a locust or two or a few calciworms. But in the past week she is only really having about one or two feeders a day and is most interested in super worms (morios)

I would avoid meal worms if possible. Can you find superworms, silkworms, dubia, calciworms (bsfl, Phoenix worms) or anything other then mealworms? How old is your cham?

    Feeding Schedule, Amount and Supplementation

Phoenix worms are BSFL, they're also called calciworms. Waxworms are pretty much a waste of time and money, small, not very nutritious, addictive... when my chams were smaller they enjoyed the moths though. If they're Male chams, feed every day as much as they'll eat in the morning until...

...start moving around? How soon after hatching shall I offer them the first food and what do you recommend - baby crickets, baby locusts, calciworms? Well dusted - or shall I rather be careful with powder additives? And at what age shall I start advertising them for sale? I live in the UK...

...8:30 am to 8:00 pm DIET: Superworms and crickets on the menu roughly half the time, while the other half he gets discoid roaches, calciworms, hornworms, silkworms, and occasional waxworms. Probably eats around 2-5 bugs a day (varies with sheds, etc.). All meals are dusted (save for the...

Black soldier flies / Calci Worms

...or two and then get back onto crickets or stick with it. I really don’t want to use roaches and I’ve done some research and found that CalciWorms (black solider fly larvae) or actual black solider flies would be easiest. I have a couple questions about them though. 1) Would they be a good...

    Chameleon Circling Top of Cage?

Sounds good! He doesn't use the branches as much as the foliage, so I'll probably add another of both, until my Golden Pothos plants grows a bit larger to replace the fake plants. I unfortunately have no say in temperature, so I can't stop the house from getting to 90-95 sometimes. We have a...

    Favorite Foods

Mine love hornworms the most but my wallet doesn't. We compromise on black soldier flies. I buy them as larvae (reptiworms, calciworms, phoenixworms) and let them pupate because the adults are easier to feed off... No dirt. They also seem to like the flies better than the larvae. Another...

So she gets each a blueberry and grape once weekly. She use to try and eat her fake plants on occasion so I increased her kale to every feeding.
