    I need poop!!

It may help to put your chameleon under the shower. My experience is that my chameleons always poop after or under the shower.

    Pics of my enclosure

Is it common in the US that you don't use any substrate at all? I know that in Holland and some other countries in Europe that they all use substrate too maintain the humidity, for the plants, for the females for their eggs. I haven't heard of any breeder or keeper that they lost a chameleon...

    Baby Translucents

Brad, can you tell me where you read that the translucents occured in the wild? I'm very curious because in my opinion it's because of inbreed but if there is some "prove" that they occur in the wild then I have to change my opinion ;)

    Transbald Calyptratus (Veiled chameleon)

Actually I think it happens because of inbreed and selective breeding. I think the piebald and translucent spots are genetic errors because the skins looses the ability to do some basic functions. If you have a piebald chameleon and a normal chameleon then the chance that you have piebald...

    Transbald Calyptratus (Veiled chameleon)

Everyone is saying that the piebalds and translucents are so beautifull but did someone ever thought about the consequences of the loss of pigment? I'm don't want to discuss if the animals are nice or not because that's a personal thing. (personally I don't like them) As you all know the...

    F. Pardalis Ankaramy (Pink Panther)

I do love Amsterdam :D. I lived their till I was 7 and then moved with my family to Almere (it's just a 20 minute drive). In Holland there are some really good breeders but it's a small world. Germany has a lot more breeders so I visit the show in Hamm each time to get in contact with foreign...

    F. Pardalis Ankaramy (Pink Panther)

Thanks for the replies! When I think he is fully grown up I will post some more pictures of the guy. @CleanLineChameleons That's what I expected so he still got a few months :) @Kat77 I bought him from a friend in Slovenia. But in Europe it's pretty hard to get (good) pink panthers and in...

    F. Pardalis Ankaramy (Pink Panther)

Here is a small update of my Ankaramy male. This male is about one year old but he is rather small but growing very fast the last couple of weeks. It took a while when his color started too show and in my opinion he will be more pink in a while. I read and heard that the Ankaramy juveniles...

    Furcifer minor

We keep the minors slightly different then the pardalis. Offcourse we keep the minors seperatelly in one of the exo-terra glass terrariums and we put al lot of plants and twigs in the terrarium. A lot more then we do by the pardalis. In the morning we spray the plants with water so the...

    Furcifer minor

It's a very pleasant species :) My experience with the minors is that they are not shy at all and that they are not a stressfull species. I would say that they are even more relaxed than the pardalis but they are very active in their housings. For those small animals they can eat a lot...
