Jackson’s Chameleon scratching at glass & climbing on roof

I just got a 24x24x48 mesh cage set in my cart with some corrugated plastic and a fogger! I just took his bulb and raised it by another few inches from his cage to help with his temps! I set my reader and it said basking was at 78.4 on the basking spot but I know they’re not the most accurate...

    Curious Chameleon?

My chameleon is very adventurous and it is starting to worry me. He is turning one on april 6th so I got him a new cage that is 5x3x2. I didn't have it secured enough and he slid through the bars and escaped it. I have now covered it in hunting mesh and he hasn't been able to escape since, but...

US Pennsylvania… Dragonstrand clearsided atriums, large and medium *UNUSED* open to trades

Hey all, I have some stuff I’d like to sell off to make room. Located in western PA, I could drive an hour or so to meet. I’m also in New Jersey occasionally. Shipping might be too crazy for some of this so I’d prefer local pick up, but could possibly ship some of it. PM me and I can get more...

    Jackson's Chameleon Prolapse

Yes, I've only been feeding him silkworms and gut-loaded/calcium-dusted baby crickets. We switch off and on of Ca with D3. But, you're right it doesn't look fully digested. Otherwise, I will continue using pasteurized honey but I think I'll break up the soaks to every few days so the stress...

    Husbandry Review

Thanks. Yes, I already brought a portable heater from my office to use once the weather changes in the fall. Basement has its own built in propane heater but I cannot keep it on constantly. Temps and humidity have been a bit better the past two nights. PVC hack is functional but not 100%...

    New owner. Underweight?

Some more questions. So whenever her little food cup has some water in it from the misters, she tries to drink it. Right now the misters are set up 2min before and after lights, then 1 min in the afternoon. I also have a dripper going. So I bought a fogger and this is the first night using it...

Chameleon pulled out her claw and is now sleeping at the bottom of the cage please help!

Cage Info: Cage Type - screen, 16x16x30in This is too small, the bare minimum is either 36”x18”x36” tall or 2’x2’x4’ tall for a veiled, but the recommended size is 4’x2’x4’ tall or bigger! Bigger is always better, so go as big as you can! You need to take out the reptile carpet (you need a bare...

Here is part two. Hopefully work won’t call me away again. Cage Info: Cage Type - Screen. Lighting - Dual bulbs. ReptiSun 5.0 UVB with amplified heat. What do you mean, “amplified”? Daylight Blue Basking light. Every morning I turn them on, every night I turn them off. You want a 12 hour...

    Fogger Setup

Salt? I have not been using salt. I put 1 bottle of poland spring in and let it go until it shuts off when it runs out. What is the purpose of salt? Are there foggers that run off of a controller? I dont see many options for foggers on the market. Any that you would recommend?

    Rescue Veiled Behavior/RI&Treatment

Hello! Thank you for all the feedback. As far as a hybrid enclosure, which brands do you recommend? I saw a t-Rex brand 36x18x36 that had more screen at Petco, or should I get a 2x2x4 and modify it with material on 3 sides, leaving the front door screen?

Chameleon pulled out her claw and is now sleeping at the bottom of the cage please help!

ok thank you so much the problem is I don't have a ton of money to spare when it comes to this and I don't really have the space as of now to get a big cage like that. I really enjoy her and all but I'm wondering if I should give her back as I don't want to kill her but don't have all the...

    Husbandry Review

The best thing I could potentially assist with here (And you may have replies on this already, if so, sorry!) is night time humidity. If you are struggling with keeping the humidity raised, IMO you should keep the fogger on. Don't let it turn on/off. Just keep it on from 12:30-6:00am. I...
