    He keeps coming out

Maybe try building him a free range area to offer him some stimulation and enrichment. Just be sure to supervise and keep other pets away. It can be as simple as some plants and branches in front of a window.

    Plant Stores?

If it a small business, more enriching to help an average person succeeding in business too.

    He keeps coming out

His enclosure is 48x24x72 so it just surprises me. He's wanting more room, lol. But I was talking to my husband about getting a money tree, put in that room that he can maybe climb on

    3 month old panther chameleon

Oh geez I haven't ordered any yet but if its for my babies enrichment I think I can make myself. Do you have a preferred place to get them?

    Green Lacewing

...these be suitable to feed veiled chameleons? I see this place has mantis eggs. I am looking to buy the mantis and let them hatch for some enrichment. I saw these as well. Wondering if they could be another enrichment? https://www.rasahydroponics.com/green-lacewing-adults.html I saw they also...

    New Keeper with Questions

My only note on BSFL is the digestion issue mentioned above. If they don't get chewed they can pass through undigested. Daily is fine but don't feed so many at once they get gobbled down rather than chewed. Letting some mature into flies makes for excellent enrichment.

    What Am I Looking?

...of the enclosure and was glass surfing when I stood there. Aside from the environment not correct the only other thing I could think of was out needs enrichment. The other thing I thought was that it looks bloated. Maybe edema? I am curious what others think. Thanks for your thoughts in...

    Chameleon Abdominal Mass

Talked to the vet and it’s not good news. The mass is apparently some kind of growth in her intestine (not an impaction) and it is not realistically operable. Blood test revealed some elevated white counts so we are giving antibiotics more as palliative care in hopes she will be less...

    Green Lacewing

I have fed Green Lacewing from field plankton I have collected to my mid and smaller sized chameleons in the past. The chameleons I have fed the Green Lacewings to relished them. However I consider them a treat for most chameleon species as Green Lacewings are small insects. They may make a...

posing some ideas for experiments on husbandry, feeding, etc.

...what differences would one expect to see and how would anything even be measured? Chameleons aren’t very good test subjects. Providing enrichment for them is a slightly different matter. From what I’ve seen of other’s chams, they do enjoy having window views. Just have to be careful that the...

Question from newbie - crickets roaming the cage

I leave my crickets in the cage. If they escaped the feeder bowl. I let my chameleon roam and have his enrichment to really hunt the escaped crickets. Plus it’s good for them to let them naturally hunt.

    Green Lacewing

That’s not too bad, I want to bring some new enrichment so he not bored of his staples. By the way, we need the 💡as another icon reaction for being informative. 😂

    New Keeper with Questions

Got it yes I have read that as well, no digesting them well. I’m going to try them out and monitor his poops so see if he has an issue with that, thank you. But I did also buy them with the intention of turning them into flies for enrichment.

    Bioactive Enclosure Curiosity

...population, and are primarily active at night. The few that my chameleons may catch makes no difference to the isopod numbers and has no effect on my chams’ weights. I see it as enrichment/natural hunting behavior. It’s hard to entertain a chameleon, so I think it’s great that they hunt.

HOW do I do this and when?

...of how and when but it may help you with the need to give her something. You could try bean beetles. I feed them to smaller species for enrichment. Veiled females would probably eat them. They are just a little bigger than fruit flies and they crawl. Ten of them would give her something to do...

    Food for F. Lateralis

...Chameleon (Furcifer pardalis). I loved feeding my Panther Black Soldier Flies, in their larva form and in their adult flying form (for enrichment). I know that Carpets are much smaller than Panthers but I would still love to feed the Carpet Black Soldier Flies. I like how they're noiseless...

    Chester seems sad :(

I agree with the above, I am guessing he is just looking outside and isn't actually sad. If you think about it, its good safe enrichment for him to see things like that and still be physically safe.
