Should I buy the little guy before I leave?

I saved a veiled chameleon from being miserable...luckily I asked the if they still had a chameleon or did they sell it. they moved him in the back since he was bigger....smh Pet Smart...I fixed the the set up and changed lighting to the correct lighting. Rearrange the enclosure properly. I wanted to buy him because I wanted to save home but I’m on a 2 week business trip. I thought of your veiled chameleon
