Hey, this might be dumb question, but does the colour of hibiscus matter, i thought I read there where a few that are poisonous. Is that true?

Cool beans, I thought it sounded dumb. I could be confusing it with something else, to much info in my effin head, lol. Flowers aren't really my thing, so I'll let my daughter pick the colours then, lol.

Pink is my favorite color . Large amounts of potho’s have a toxicity component . I have not had an issues but it’s said to be true .

Pothos, thats probably what I'm getting it confused with. I already know I'm gonna be coming home with pink or purple for sure, lol. Was thinking about getting some ferns too, they where a decent price

I love firms but they need to be up higher in the condo and they do not like being wet .

Do they need to be up higher for lighting reason too? or is it just to keep em dryer? I have pieces of plastic over soil on my planters, just to make sure they don't get too much water from misting. Gonna cut a slot in some 5 gallon bucket lids and glue a bunch of river rocks to top of em. I didn't realize at first how much water actually makes it way thru the rocks by themselves

Ya, was thinking wht type. I know they are pretty big and I'd have to keep it at the bottom. I'm a little worried I might not be able to control watering tho. I like your idea of hanging ferns, might be alot easier, plus he doesn't go below the bottom 12" of the cage anyways.

You can either run a road across bull or wood over the top . Then hang the plant . If you use the wood you need wire . Boston ferns like humidity and sunlight . They don’t like being wet . Good drainage will be needed . They do not do well at the bottom of a condo in my experience .

Cool, I almost got a 3 1/2' palm, but quickly realized I don't think it would've fit in his enclosure with rest of plants. I'm gonna try that, thanks. Gonna have to rearrange a few thing but, i'd rather him have more plants, than not enough
