Well, I didn't have to show them but I had a private discussion with them both with pictures and diagrams. They seem to have understood what I was talking about.

He hasn't let her get 3 inches away from him since I put her in there. In fact, he woke up before she did and spent a good 30 minutes just staring at her from an inch away.

glad to see they got it right. my dog once tried doing the dirty in the wrong direction, but he later got it right and became the father of 3 litters of puppies, lol.
