Thanks for the comment, he is only a juvi, not full grown yet. I am quite confident in the locale of the animal, I purchased him from a well known Canadian Breeder, who also happens to be a sponser on the site. I cannot wait for the eye colour to become visible, that was one of the main reasons...
Similar to the picture that was posted above that post. It is the green fencing inside the cage. Is that the same as what you are talking about?
Edit: Beeze, how did you attach the fencing to the cage?
There are lots, they don't like being bothered and as soon as you get close to the cage it's up the wall they go. I will post some more pic's of the enclosures when I am not at work. Thanks for the tips though.
Edit: Where should I look for the plastic fencing? Home Depot? Places like that...
Just trying to post a couple pictures of my chameleons, not sure if I did it right so bare with me. When they are visible the first 2 are my veiled (he is my avatar picture as well) and the second 2 are my recently purchased Nosy Mitsio. Enjoy.
Edit: I can't get the second picture of the...
Wow you live in Wyoming, talk about close to home. I live just outside of Sarnia. If you are able to get any pics it would be awesome to see some. I was supposed to be able to make it down but work schedule decided to prohibit that. Hope everything goes well Drew, hopefully I will have some pics...
I think it is more of an "extra precaution". Just because the stick is dead, doesn't mean there can't be anything living in it. It does reduce the chance, but I am sure there is still a slight chance. I don't happen to know exactly what may be living in it though, but if you have had success...
Excellent pics, he looks amazing. He resembles the juvi Mitsio that I just got. Mine has the orange coming out in his eyes like that and has the light blue with the soft green back-round. I was told the blue will fade as he reaches sexual maturity. Can't wait to see this fella when he gets...
Thanks for your time and info, I feel as if we took over the thread but hope that the original poster has read and got some helpful info out of it. I did, thanks for the responses Pssh, much appreciated.
I do, I use a large metal pot, boil the water, and then pour into onto the sticks that are in the bath. The pot isnt large enough for most of the sticks so I had to resort to an alternative (the bath tub). I guess I will just add a small amount of bleach to the water. Any thoughts on a ratio...
Those are mainly virus' which are farm from the same thing as a bacteria. Most bacteria will be wiped out by the temp that the water is at I am sure. (It reaches boiling point, and then is left to sit on the stove for another 20mins after it begins to boil. the only thing that had me ask the...
Hmm. I may have to consider a new method. What I do exactly is peel off all the bark and anything hanging on the branches/vines, and boil the water (on the stove) and then put it all in the bath tub. I don't see how this is much different from baking, other than the fact that theres water...
