Its about the same $75 to build the first cage but have enough material to build another 18x18x24 and a 24x24x52.
3 cages about 110-120 without screwing up lol.
So really if you only need 1(like myself since this was my first cham) building your own doesnt make a lot of since on the saving...
You dont "have" to order it online.... its readily available at reptile shops online and not.... but that said buying from one of the sponsors here is obviously reccomended.

Regarding the RO unit... most come with an adapter to connect to your faucet, but you can pick up a different adapter for about 5 bucks to adapt it to a garden hose output... Youll want a brass/metal.. they have plastic adapter for 2 bucks but they can occasianly start leaking. Also would look...
If yoiur looking to make a misting system and not a dripping system you'll prolly have to be looking ionto getting a high psi pump, such as mistking uses..
I use a 115psi pump from a RO/DI unit.... whihc is typically called a "booster" pump. Im sure these can be found for cheap on craigslist...
Added some river rock to the pot some sticks from outside which I baked and got some biovine today as well... Should make it a little easier for Slice to get around rather quickly. Trimmed down the ficus a tad as well.
Later today when its a little cooler outside will be adding white pvs...
using an aqualifter for my drip since I had it laying around. on a analog timer to go on 3 times a day for 15-20 minutes, just drips a single drop about every 2 seconds or so for the 15-20 minutes
Misting is done with a "fogger" head from home depot and is conected with a RO/di "booster"...
