    Strange chameleon coloration on back.

So my concerns first started almost a week ago when my cham stopped eating crickets. It wasn't a big deal as he was still eating worms(butter and silk), and I figured I had just not been changing his gutload/feeders enough. Then about 3-4 days ago he had a very solid poop which met all the...

What to feed panther chameleon during cricket hunger strike?

Hey everyone, as my title says my cham is on a bit of a hunger strike but only towards crickets. Butter worms and meal worms he has been eating but I am worried about his nutritional intake as I have never really done much gutloading with worms. Is there anything else more nutritious I could be...

    Chameleon falling in cage. Help?

Ok, thanks for the info on that. I'm glad its just the way the leg was angled and how the xray was taken.

    Chameleon falling in cage. Help?

Here is the xray. The vet said that the bone density looks good. The back left leg looks strange. Could that be the issue? Possible MBD? Vet said it could be the angle at which it was taken as his structure doesn't look like it would be MBD.

    Chameleon falling in cage. Help?

He asked A LOT of questions about husbandry as he said that most of the time its husbandry that causes issues in reptiles. And sure, you can go over it again. I posted it in my last thread but it couldn't hurt to post it again. And he seems more surprised that he fell. He will sit there for...

    Chameleon falling in cage. Help?

Nope. Unfortunately there is no "true" reptile vet in my area and he was the only one willing to see my cham. He said blood work was most likely unnecessary when I asked about it. Should I call him and ask to do a fecal sample and blood work?

    Chameleon falling in cage. Help?

So, I posted last week about my cham falling in his cage and took him for xrays and a general inspection and the vet said everything looked good. All he noticed was a bit of a sore on his foot that had already started scabbing over and said that may be the reason he has fallen in his cage. He...

    Chameleon falling off branch?

Thanks. D: And I didn't see what exactly he was doing, i just heard him fall off his branch. I then moved everything around a little so its easier for him to walk. Since that he hasn't fallen so hopefully that was the issue. Also for a vet visit what should I be asking the vet to look for...

    Chameleon falling off branch?

Alright I observed him falling again today... Time to treat for MBD? I just don't get it. I supplement him all the time, replace his UVB every 6 months and everything. :\ Is it possible to get a bad UVB bulb? Also unfortunately for me there is no reptile vet where I live so I can't readily...

    Chameleon falling off branch?

Lights are on for 14 hours a day. My supplementation is the following: (All repashy) No D calcium every day, calcium +d3 twice a month, low d3 twice a month, multivitamin twice a month. If it is some form of MBD did I just give my guy a death sentence? Should I be adjusting my...

    Chameleon falling off branch?

For sure! Do you maybe think that it was just a random fluke of him losing his grip? Also I got pictures from both sides, but one is with the screen in the way. If you like I could try to get a better angle.

    Chameleon falling off branch?

Yup, all four feet are gripping strongly. And the branches are a reasonable size, nothing that he shouldn't be able to handle or anything that should be too small but some of the plants are on the thinnish side. Obviously because they are plants. He has been in this cage for about 4-5 months.

    Chameleon falling off branch?

The past two days my chameleon has fallen off of a plant in his cage. Each time I went up to him, lifted him up and he seemed 100% fine. No broken limbs, his grip strength is really good and he shows all the signs of a healthy cham. Should I be worrying about this? I know its (mostly) natural...
