Yea, that's what I am going to do after this batch of crickets. I actually freaked out & dropped three (I think only 3) outside of the cage. & they do not chirp so I've been itchy for days . My dog got 2 of them. Haha... I do not think I'm more ready to try another food option. :D:D Another...

I'm a new owner...so feel free not to listen to me :rolleyes: lol... But I had the same watt bulb & had to use a 100. The little guy kept opening its mouth, which I knew from other animals that it was trying to cool off. From what I read, babies don't know that they need to move if it's too hot...

I only had thin metal wire, so I used that at first. Horrible idea! It's ruining the fiberglass mesh. I am slowly replacing it with garden ties (looks like bread ties). I got two spools from the "dollar tree" & just cut to size. I also bought hooks to screw into the frame & use those as a guide...
