Thanx Carlton. I looked for a vet, however I could not find one specialized in lizards or reptiles. All of them are for cats & dogs and their knowledge on reptiles is basic. I was recommended one, but he does not answer the phone, so I cannot wait. Time sometimes is crucial.

I don't want to write a "tl;dr" post, however I want to give all the info cause sometimes the details change everything. I have a calyptratus who is 3.5 years old, and very large (360gr.) I made a custom enclosure, half with plexi, so it keeps moisture and half with mesh, so it has good...

Lately my veiled cham, 10 months old, acts a little strange... First of all he does not eat as much as he used to eat. I had him out in the terrace from May, and got him inside before 10 days since temps dropped below 20°C. Since then, he almost stopped eating. While outside he ate 8-10...

Thanx guys :) I was surprised, since he had never done this before. He used to sleep in 3 different spots, depending on the night temps.

So, maybe he was looking for humidity, more/less heat, or shelter from wind? Yesterday evening it was a very hot night and windy here in Athens, it was about 37-38°C

Is it normal for a male calypratus to dig in the dirt? :confused: Today, I woke up at around 10 (I am on vacations :rolleyes: ) and when I got outside to check and feed my Calypratus, 8 months old, I saw a big hole in the one corner of the cage. The cage has dirt on the bottom and real plants...

In order to do some modifications on the cage, we had to leave him loose at the house... :rolleyes:

Good day to everybody! Yesterday, before I left for work, I gave Perseus 7 medium-large Locusts. By 11:30, where I spoke with my wife, he had eaten all of them! :o By 20:00, when I got back home, he had eat 12 more crickets! Is this normal? Do I need to limit the amount of food I give...

Really? And I thought his colors were not so saturated and bright...

Hey dad, look, I am getting bigger and FAT :D Is it normal for him to eat 6-8 big grasshoppers per day? Sometimes he even wants more... :o

Lately, the last 3 days, his colors are somehow desaturated... (1st and 2nd photos, the other two are older) Should I be worried about something?

Now he is almost 5 months old, and he is starting to getting the adults' shape :D
