    Jann, Im so sorry to hear about your loss. Camile was a beautiful cham. In my opinion the most beautiful female vieled i have ever seen. She always be with you. Im sure she is smiling right now from her great big hibiscus in the sky.

    So they don't nibble on your cham while he or she is asleep. Also, they are dreadfully annoying if they are chirping in there all night. :eek:

    So the temps cooled down and my cham is eating normal again. I can't say for all chams, but mine seems to go on a "food strike" when it gets a little too hot.

    Thanx for sharing these good lookin new chams! Your "new male" has an interesting face. "His" lips look very strange and i feel like he is displaying some sad emotions... Although i doubt it's that since he is outside in the sunshine. :-)

    Just make sure you pick them up from UPS, Fedex, etc..., instead of waiting for them to be dropped off. :)

    It depends a lot on the genes. If you can, check out the bloodlines of your cham.

    You could pick a species from Madagascar. You could talk about the island's steadily decreasing rain forest. Check out the movie, "The Chameleons of Madagascar." It has some good information on the species their. You could also check out Steve Irwin's piece he did on Madi (Rest in Peace Steve)...

    Juvenile temps are good between 81 and 84ish. I kept my temps at a solid 82 until my veiled got older. Check the threads on specific temps for specific ages. Also, make sure you test the temps at the closest point to the light your cham can get. (They tend to hang out near the light...
