I think I will go with the low profile raindome, it looks like it would be a better fit over my cage. I plan to use two single t5 fixtures from lightyourreptile, one with a acadia bulb and the other with a grow bulb, so the single low profile raindome will fit better between the two light fixtures

So, what is your vote? raindome or mistking rain nozzle? I want to get one of these to go with my misting system. I'm still trying to deside between a mistking or aquazamp system, they seem to be like a chevy or ford deal. Both good just make your choice.

Is there any issue with using a small dome fixture with a night time heat bulb for heat instead of a heat mat? Main reason is my breeding bin will be sitting on carpet (but I could put it on a small stand if needed) and i only have a small heat mat, a bulb would cost alot less then a larger heat...

Good point on affecting the heat gradient, I didn't think about that. If I deside to try using one on my new setup I'll have to keep an eye on temps across the cage.

Does anyone use a small fan next to their enclosures for extra air flow? Seems like it couldn't hurt if it was a small fan, plus the added air flow would be great for live plants. Any thoughts?
