Oh, he’s eating well (between 10 and 20 feeders a day, lots of variety) and growing like a monster. This doesn’t seem to be stopping him getting the food he needs.
He also still uses his tongue, which is good, just from a closer distance than he necessarily should need a lot of the time. I do...
So Marty’s aim is still off, but I think I’m seeing some slow improvement? I might just be being optimistic. When he misses it’s consistently because he’s shooting too high.
We made suggested tweaks to his food, supplements, and environment and are avoiding feeding hornworms until he’s a bit...
To be clear calcium plus was not all feedings, just every couple of weeks. But still going to switch to the slightly lower D3 one that was recommended. 👍🏻
Oh wow, ok, thank you! And yes, new supplements are on the way!
Wow, ok, good to know. Thank you! New supplements are on the way too. Whatever the issue is, hopefully we’ll see some positive change soon.
Oh shoot I forgot part o

I’ll try these switches! Yeah, I used the kammerflage setup and supplements for my last cham (who lived a long and healthy life), but we tried a different route with our new boy so we’re still learning how to perfect supplements and all aligned with this setup - it’s quite different! Appreciate...
Oh totally, I was just saying I came in with a misconception :) We’re aiming for a variety but we were trying to be heavier on the nutrient rich stuff (maybe to a fault) - we’ll definitely play with the balance.
We’ve been gutloading everything. We’ll try to lean a bit more on the dubias and crickets and see what happens. He definitely had to warm up to the dubias. I thought BSFL were pretty solid but maybe nutrient rich doesn’t mean staple. Thank you!
Yeah, unfortunately just hard to identify which one! If a few tweaks to his environment/supplementation don’t do the trick we’ll be looking at a vet visit soon.
