Have you tried a dripper? This might be a good option for your veiled to decide to drink what they need without being sprayed. I know mine is not a fan of his mister.
Make sure that your cham gets some water and gets hydrated! Depending on how old they are they can go a few days with out food. I am really sorry that this happened. How is your cham doing/looking?
Hi! Im really sorry that your chameleon is sick. I don't have much experience but I have read on the forum that force feeding can be really risky because of the location of their airway.
Sorry for such a late response. I was able to snag this picture when he decided to come out yesterday. Also the problem seems to have resolved itself, I have not noticed him grabbing his own leg anymore. I did kind of freak out a week ago and literally thought he was dying but turns out he was...
Thank you for the advice! I had added a branch a little closer to the UVB to make sure that he was able to get enough light and I check the heat lamp daily to make sure it doesnt get too hot but I will probably have to move it as he gets bigger! Also I just wanted to say that I don't take him...
For Supplements I use repticalcium without D3 every day and reptivite with D3 twice a month. I also have a Zoo Med reptisun T5 5.0 fixture. I dont know the form of vitamin A

Its a single nozzle mister so he only gets sprayed his he is sitting on a branch that is close to the mister. Ill definitely look into the fogger. How much do the temps need to drop to make sure that he doesn't develop a respiratory infection? My room stays in the mid 60's at night.
I guess Im just assuming he is dehydrated because of his dry/orangeish urate. He hasn't been too shy around me, he usually is eating before I can even get my hand out of his enclosure and he shoots his tongue at the dripper right when I turn in on but I guess its possible for him to drink while...
