oh man, do I have photos:
the first three are the first few months I had her, then the rest are after I made some major changes. I think the shoulder images show the best growth comparison ?
Hi, Wanted to update you all since it has almost been a year now.
We did end up loosing Ezra the following day, and since I have committed to learning and putting into practice as much as I possibly can to give Nova (the female) the best life possible. She is around a year old and has not laid...
Hi guys!
Can anyone explain to me the difference between the reptisun T5HO 5.0 and the reptisun T5HO 10.0?
It has to do with UVB coverage, right? Like the 5.0 extends shorter rays from the bulb and the 10.0 covers more area? Curious if that is it or if there is a more significant difference...
It was Panacur I believe.
Poor baby Ezra is not doing so great today. Not eating the feeders we place in between his teeth (reluctantly holding on to them, and then spitting them out). I was getting dressed for the day and checked on him again, and he had regurgitated 2 undigested mealworms...
I am studying equine science for my undergrad degree.
I voiced my concerns, and the vet took all into consideration. Looked in Ezra’s mouth/throat and said there was no sign of RI, positive the source of weight loss was some kind of parasite. Visiting again in a month for a follow up dose. He...
thank you! this helps so much...
I am currently working on updating the enclosure, not perfect (yet) but making improvements that @Beman suggested on my help form!
Temp in Basking area is 87°F.
Temp in enclosure (not basking area) is 76°F
Humidity is 40% when not spraying, gets up to 70%...
Hi all,
Vet gave him some dewormer, Panacur, and advised we force feed him small amounts until he decides to eat again on his own. As of now, he is eating the small crickets we put in his mouth. He is moving around a lot more today and has opened his eyes more.
Thank you guys for all of the...
the light is off for the night, he is asleep for his normal day/night schedule. I can't imagine it would be beneficial to wake him to test that out.
Bringing him to the vet in the morning, should I bring a few crickets with me to try that out while there?
Thank you all again
thank you! yes, he was having normal poops before the past couple days. I haven't made any changes since then though... Although I will be moving forward. Separate enclosures, higher humidity, better lighting, etc, as mentioned earlier in the thread.
I wouldn't have known any better about...
We are separating them now. Can you possibly give me more information on what you have seen before with that chest shape, @kinyonga ?
I have not seen him poop in the past day or two.
What can I do for him, put him in a high humidity (bathroom with shower on)?
