I use a reptisun 10.0 uvb bulb and it emits no heat. Lots on the forum recommend arcadia lights from light your reptiles, but the reptisun bulbs work good as well. Usually most uvb lights emit little to no heat at all and thats where the basking light comes into place. :) hope I could help.

He's looking good :D, and that is perfectly normal for him to eat lots. It may seem like a lot for a Chameleon to eat at once but they're growing so they can eat more than when they're full grown. The bulging of the eye is just him/her cleaning there eyes, a chameleon blink you could say. (perfectly normal)
