    Stuck in a pickle

Hey you guys. Ive been struggling to get my female jacksons to eat anything other then tiny snails and flies. I offered these items once a few months ago as variety to the diet and now im stuck using these two because thats all she will eat. Now that my area is running low on tiny snails and...

diy cage, what do you guys think??

very nice cage, but as far as shelf life....not too long. I cant tell if your wood is protected or not, but withthe amount of water we use, you may notice the wood soak up water and start to mold and stink.

    Bottom bin for catching water

I use citter litter bins that sorta fit to catch water in that general area of heaviness. Tapplastic.com if you have them in your states, or a similar store. You can also ask them make a hole in diameter that you wanted, so you dont hvae to. what are your cage dimensions?

    Camera suggestions?

well... some people here use smart phones and just angle it right(i). if youre trying to take insane shots, get a canon or other dslr camera. Those can be a little fussy but if you can understand chameleons, you can understand a chamera. :P

my cham wont eat but wants alot of water

wait her out, they do it a lot. I had to start using flies to trigger my girl back to regular feedings. she is still drinking which is great!

my cham wont eat but wants alot of water

Its not a good idea to feed a female jacksons a lot. Maybe 4 to 5 items every other day. Also, crickets are still ok to use but there are items much more healthier and maybe can trigger her to eat if she goes longer without food. more then 10 days and id worry more then.

how many crickets should my jacson be eating

judging just by the last pic, he looks like a subadult, yound adult. He could eat a bit more but and def needs to catch up of drinking... Try spraying a ton, a drip system and even a mysting system in play. You should also try food items that are a bit healthier then just crickets for him...
