hi guys, im just wondering which you use, is it repti aid or repta aid? ive read a few posts suggesting repti aid but i cant find it for sale anywhere i can only find this one...
like jannb said leave him alone and let him get used to his new environment, dont try and handle him for a good couple of weeks. aslong as hes eating and drinking then he shud be ok.
glad shes ok now :D id just like to add im from the uk and have a full screen enclosure and i wudnt have it any other way , i have to cover one end of the cage to keep a little bit of heat in and make sure the room hes in isnt too cold but apart from that theyre perfect for veiled chams.
i think komodo dust is meant to be 99% calcium so shud be ok, only reason i asked is that alot of people from uk use nutrobal as their calcium supplement which isnt good.
u say shes in a glass cage at the moment, a complete guess here with not knowing any other info i would say shes getting too hot , u need a cool end to ur vivarium and if uve got a glass tank this will be hard to get, i do hope uve got a thermostat or else it will be like an oven in the tank...
i think chams with respiratory problems make noises when they breathe, but im not sure if its the same kinda noise as ur explaining, i dont think chams shud make noises unless theyre hissing :S
hey predator, i believe that nutrobal is a multivitamin and contains only a little amount of calcium and shudnt be used as your staple calcium supplement you will need a pure calcium powder for this such as calypso. nutrobal also contains D3 so shudnt be used daily its only meant to be used a...
