so i woke up today and seen some what i thought was dry skin but than once i actually thought for a second i realized he was shedding how often do chameleons shed im just trying to figure out how old he is exactly.:):p

digital thermometers are $100 + at the pet stores here. im going to go to the hydroponics store here and grab one or two for way less. i would say hes about 5 or 6 inches ill mesure him next time he comes out

i have 5 dial temps/ dial hydrometers in various parts of his cage.

the 75watt would reach 80 F about 1 cm from light so it is no good for where i live i moved the lamp up 4 inches and is a solid 90F

talking about the basking light lol sorry still half sleeping ^^^^^

the tempature would drop intencesly ( i had a 75watt before didnt go past 80 degrees)

also how would i coil light make him go blind? repti 5.0 how is it any different than the tubes? :confused: :confused: ppl at the local petstore told me there is no point in buying a tube if i already have coils :eek:

i really feel there is no need to go to a 40 watt, theres no way he would stay alive, it is extremly cold where i live. i think ill just move it up a tad.
