    Panther chameleon constapated

Hi. I have a full grown male panther (a little over one year). He always goes in the same place. I cleaned the spot four or five days ago and I have not seen any new stool there since. I have tried soaking in hot water with no results. I cut feeding back to five crickets daily (usually I give...

    Feeders in chicago area

Anyone know where to get D. Hydei ff's or 1/8 inch crickets in chicago area without blowing $20 on shipping? Tired of this expense!!! I have pinheads that just hatched, but they are not big enough yet.

    Clyde the boxer

I know sometimes chameleons can use their head to "nudge" other chameleons out of their territory in a conflict. The head stuff can be stemming from this instinct.

    Chameleon love at first sight

Here is a photo I like of the first introduction between Wanda and Bluebeard. I thought he might have been a bit young to breed, but the towel obstructing his view from her had fallen and he was putting on quite a show for her. As her colors were receptive, I figured Id give them a chance. Her...

It's hard being hated by my cham

Very well stated twatts704. It takes a good amount of time for you and your chameleon to gain an understanding. I would not even try to handle the cham till it is well adjusted to both its enclosure and you. Hand feeding is a great place to start.

any tips on panther noenate care?

The affirmations make me feel much more at ease! Thank you. I am just so worried because the little guys are so small and fragile and this my first clutch hatching. I know any mistake would be catastrophic at this point!

    dehydrated panther

One technique I have used to help with hydration when my panther was under a baytril treatment was to inject waxworms with a fair amount of water under their skin ( I like waxworms because they hold the most water). You will need a hypodermic needle for his though. I had my panther intaking an...

Here is my setup for the babies. The oldest hatched about 5 days ago. it is hard to see but there is a 18" zoomed reptisun 5.0 15 watt bulb mounted 16 in. above the enclosure. The cycle is 12 and 12. The tub is 36 qt. size and is currently housing 8 babies. I mist the enclosure about 6 times...

    Pinhead crickets in chicagoland

The title pretty much sums it all up. I need the smallest pinheads possible and I am having a hard time finding them local in chicagoland area.

    Dusting FF's for neonates?

is it important to supply supplements to new born neonates? If so, what is the methodology for dusting FF's. What supplements and how often? If not, do I start dusting as soon as they are big enough to eat pins and silks? Thank you for your input!

    Breeding Operation

There is lots of money to be made in exotic snakes. I have a friend who is a police officer but claims to make way more money with his snake breeding business. 20k might only get you one pair of good exotic snakes to breed though. Big investment there!!!!!!!
