I don't know if its true or not, but a small amount of googling links too much and not enough D3 to MBD. While this one is for Bearded Dragons I assume the concept is the same. http://www.beautifuldragons.com/MBD.html

The buildup of D3 can do some serious damage to your cham I have read. Not exactly sure what, but I think its something you want to avoid. I have "Fluker's Calcium with Vitamin D3" and it reads: Calcium not less than ..................36.00% Vitamin D3 minimum .......100,000 IU/pound Others...

Oh I'm so glad that there are good things to be said about it. I picked one up today on sale for 41 and then read that most people think its junk and the fan stops working in 2-6 months. I was worried I just wasted a ton of money. Thanks for the info.
