    Hello and love to everyone!

Hello Ghostbirb! I feel you, with the nice weather here this weekend, it's felt pretty lonely without Sherbert. My arnold has kept me busy with lots of head bobs and cuddles though! We had quite a few flash-floods, and my little brother found a turtle which was attacked by our dogs unfortunately...

    New family member!!!

I usually just pick the flowers and give them straight to him. They're really good for them, full of vitamins and nutrients.

    New family member!!!

I cut out the veins as well. I'm not sure if he's eating too fast or if he just can't process the collard greens. I noticed when he gets squash, he will shove a whole lot into his mouth, and then sit there for a while because he got too much to swallow. I started feeding him smaller portions...

    New family member!!!

Arnold got some tasty dandelions today! Im now obsessed with close up pictures of him 🤣 Also, I’ve noticed that he gasps (like he did when he ate the dirt) after eating collard greens, he does perfectly fine with mustard greens, and I usually get those but when he had the collard greens he...

Plants! Keeping one alive, any advice?

I don’t have much advice, but I would propagate at least some of the green ends. You can cut of a part with the little nub (in the picture). let it sit out for 24 hours then put in water until roots develop. After I move them into a little pot and bottom water the plant. I had to do this to...

    Plants

I haven’t had very much luck buying online. They either come super stressed, way smaller than shown, or full with gnats. You might have better luck finding them at box stores (the wall-mart near me had some as well) and they’re sometimes at petco.

    Plants

I'm not too familiar with polka dot plants, but I believe they share some same characteristics. The fittonia thrive in high humidity, and mine seem to bush up more than spread out. They're super easy to propagate and come in so many different colors! There was a whole bunch at the lowes near me...
