    Opinions on Bio-Pot please.

What plant is that you have in the first pic? It’s lovely 😍

Can You Spot Our Type Of Waldo?

I see a few things that could be something or just my imagination lol. Please post the answer or my OCD will be thinking about this all week. 🤓

New Jackson's parent, third day! Hasn't eaten yet ☹️

My current female adult Jackson’s does not like mealworms. Not sure why but she has never been interested in them no matter how I’ve tried feeding them to her. However, she went straight for the newly hatched darkling beetle when I first offered that with her bsfl and also ate the white pupae...

    Shrooms

If it has a “nipple” or bump on the top of the cap it definitely may be one of “those kinds” of mushrooms. 🥴 Your chameleon may not eat it but your feeders may if they’re free range or escape from the tongue strike.

    Shrooms

Really hard to say but looking into the color, cap shape, and stem width it looks like one of these...

    Weeping fig

Jackson’s aren’t prone to plant munching so as long as the plant is free of spikes, fur, saps, etc. Also will depend on if you allow your feeders to free range which gives them the opportunity to eat the plants before becoming prey items. Here’s some information from CaskAbove.com: “...there...

Hiding and camouflaging large plant pots

I think every keeper will have their own preferences on focal points, and it truly comes down to what the keeper can set up to provide the best care they possibly can for their chameleons. If bioactive is used I’m all for being as close to nature as possible, but if clean and sanitary is used...

    Misting mishap!

Hopefully your little one doesn’t think the monsoon was caused by you but by nature. Good luck at the vet ☺️

Chameleon learned to drink out of my guppy tank by trying to catch the fish. Don’t worry he is unable to catch them because of their protective slome.

That is very interesting. I do wonder if chameleons have any success actually catching fish or tadpoles in the wild.

@Klyde O'Scope Do you have a picture of your slate tile planter? I’d love to see it if you do.

    Baby panther chameleon eyes closed

The compact fluorescents bulbs have been known to cause some eye damage and with your chameleon being soo close to the light to bask I wonder if that could be affecting his vision. You will want to change to the linear tube t5ho 5.0 uvb. Is your thermometer digital or gauge? I wonder if your...

    Jacksons chameleon not eating

A fecal would be the best first step. My Jackson’s had stopped eating her crickets for about a week at one point, which sometimes happens with chams “hunger strikes”. During the second week I offered bsfl which she ignored and was finally hungry again when she had a few flies. So hopefully it’s...

Hiding and camouflaging large plant pots

As a joke, I told my husband that we could get the mini hobby train tracks and landscapes with the tiny people figurines and name the Chameleon “Godzilla” 😂 Another idea I had for hiding the planters was to glue/silicone river rocks or slate stones or dried sheet moss to the sides. It’s much...

Hiding and camouflaging large plant pots

I really hated seeing my planters so it was a mission of mine to hide it, which turned into having a large fabric planter bottom, I eventually added CuC for my soil and plant health (which also made it “bio active”) I just posted a pic of in the “opinions on biopots thread” here...

Hiding and camouflaging large plant pots

Here’s a picture of something like what @Beman described in an enclosure designed by @dinomom. The foam may also be cut/shaped and coco fiber may be used to coat the foam using silicone 1 (many vivarium walls are made this way). You will want to brush off/vacuum excess fiber particles. ☺️
