I am selling my 17 month old Panther Ambilobe. I originally purchased from FL Chams. He is in perfect health and has beautiful markings. He was everything I could have hoped for but unfortunately I am having to find him another home. If you live in Virginia, Maryland, or NC - I can arrange...
Just now gett’n around viewing this thread again - That’s alot of K-dids!!!! I’m 54 and am still a kid at heart - Love to put on a headlight and go Bug hunt’n. Love your young boy following in Dad’s footsteps - Little countryboy!!!
Yes, in fact I fed one to him today. Katydid season is coming to an end here in VA. Should only be a couple more weeks and they'll be gone. Had a cicada fly down on me while mowing today. I couldn't capture him, he flew off to fast but my Cham has eaten a few of them this year. I live in a...
Good to hear it's still going strong. Curious to know how long did you wait before you introduced your chameleon into the enclosure after you completed it?
wondering how your bioactive enclosure is doing - I'm in the process of building one - (7' Tall x 50" Wide x 30" Deep) for my Panther, Clyde.
The Chameleon breeder podcast featured 2 episode on bioactive setup. I found it to be very informative.
Now that Katydids are gone for the season here on the ole Dominion, Master Chief Clyde has been enjoying these little green stink bugs - Found another one today while raking leaves.
Update on the feeder - Well it doesn't keep the Dubias in - They can and do climb out - the bottom isn't deep enough - Back to the drawing board. But they will climb the stick and Clyde zeroed in.
Master Chief shed yesterday and I am very happy with the way his colors are turning out -
Also trying out a new style of feeder - Hoping it will afford a better opportunity for the Dubia roaches to scurry up that stick but still remain captive. We'll see!
Any thoughts on improvement are welcome!
I'm new to the community and so any info I can glean is beneficial - The podcast and the search function on this forum has proved most beneficial - Master Chief Clyde approves!
