The temp here started to cool down a little so i Started putting my Rudis outside during the day. I think he is more active when he gets outside. He also turns almost completely black. I believe he turns black to bask and absorb the UVB, if I'm wrong somebody please correct me.

I have the same problem. They are tiny black flies that mostly crawl over everything. Usually happens to me after a week of introducing the crickets to their container

Thanks for the compliments. He doesn't usually show the black markings, its a reaction to having the camera in his face.

I actually bought the plant that big. It cost about $40. It is dropping leaves but seems to be healthy. for all the leaves that drop, there seems to be new growth.

Goggles climbed out onto his open cage door today and I thought it would be a decent photo op. I think he's probably around 1 year now best guess.
