I have a female panther and a female veiled, each about five months old ... When do I need to start thinking about eggs and how will I know?
Please and thanks!
I did the same thing with my two veileds.
They were three months old and lived together since they were eggs.
I just separated them two weeks after getting them because the male was dominating during feeding. He ate all the crickets and the female was starving.
They will compete immediately...
I have been told to wait until they are a little older to introduce vegetables. 9 mo. Old or so.
I have two veileds that are quite young (4-5 mo) and am just feeding them gutloaded crickets for now.
Thank you everyone for the replies. The common theme is patience and acceptance. She is only 3 mos. old. A sambava panther ... Ill post a couple pics soon.
I also have two Veileds who are much different temperaments - got all three the same day. The veileds like me will not run from me...
Ill post a pic for you guys ... From a distance. The other thing is she shed the second day after I got her, that could not have been fun for her.
The two veileds that I have think I am wonderful, though.
I got her ten days ago and she runs like she is running from the cope every time I get near the cage! She never let's me see her eat, hides all the time, she thinks I suck :-(
