He and my girl are in my dining room which is pretty open to the kitchen and living room and so there is light in off hours, I’ve been covering them with robes but a room all their own where the lights are all timed and there’s less traffic and less moving of bugs.

I just got my order of 500 lesser meal worms and 500 buffalo beetles, not only was the delivery prompt the seller was excellent at communicating and included multiple freebies of Dubias and baby mealworms by far the best price I found and with the freebies!

Okay so “lesser mealworms/buffalo beetles” apparently make good cleanup crews in roach enclosures and they reproduce in the substrate so I ordered a large mix and will just put them in my other bug breeder boxes that use bran as substrate.

I haven’t been able to get a fresh sample but as soon as he goes it’ll be in the cup and to the vet. I had heard mealworms have little value for chameleons, so I set up culture/breeding boxes for all kinds of other bugs. Do I need to add mealworms or are super worms equivalent? Or are...

Update: Results are back: Low calcium, high phosphorus, high WBC, and borderline anemia so I'm picking up two different antibiotics. Feeding the the formula once a day and giving the eye ointment once a day. The vet said she wasn't going to focus on the anemia or the ca/phos as those should...
