Current habitat

he shedded his whole body last week took like 2 days

wondering what this mark is. It appears like skin but I dont believe its shedding as he literally just did that last week. He has been close to uvb bulb as a plant grew up to top of enclosure where i noticed him hanging out. I have cut the plant back so he cant bask there no more

I have been feeding Camo 24 small crickets a day. He is now 5 months old and beleive he should be good to start eating large ones. How many and often would you feed 5 month old?

yes have some spagnum moss around plants base on bottom but not much. I think I will just need to wipe down the large leaves that seem to be collecting the urine and feces

Is it normal for my Veiled habitat to always smell of urine? I did go bioactive with soil, drain rock, magnolia leaves isopods, springtails ect it seems most of the urine and or poop never makes it to the floor. Habitat is dense and thick with plants so usually just falls on the leaves it seems.

I have not noticed any sounds and does not seem to be shedding. He shedded about 2 weeks ago.

He is holding his nose up and does seem to star gaze or stare off at times. I do not see him do this alot maybe 1-2 times a day while basking under uvb

I Have noticed my chameleon opening his mouth all the way like a yawn while under his uvb light 1-2 times a day. Is that normal?

Thank you. I was not sure if they were sunken in or not. That is how they have looked since i got him which has only been about a month now. while I dont ever see him drink I have a mist king that runs 6 minutes twice a day and i beleive my uvb to be good reptisun T5 5.0 spaced 8 inches above...

is the eye supposed to sit back in the cone as pictured?

for shedding is thst reptished spray good to use or they ok good to know. had him for 2 weeks now he has always been a light green color and started noticing the darker color and grey as shown in photo but makes sense what your saying. Appreciate the feedback as chameleons are new to me

I have noticed Kamo our 3 month old having a grey tint color and appearing darker in color. his uvb is 8 in above basking branch and i have never seen him climb on top of screen. is he getting burned from the uvb?
