    Drumroll please..... Meet Bane...

Clever!!! Hmmm... I might try something similar. Problem with max is that he poops pretty much every time I take him outside so mine would need a poop tray lol

    Roach colonies and isopods

It’s crazy how many there are now! I wonder if the canyon isopods are native to Colorado (And I could let some go)

    Roach colonies and isopods

I really didn’t keep track of how many adult males I let reach adulthood. Now there are too many roaches! On the up side, I haven’t had to buy Cham food in a long time since I have the roach and isopod colonies plus I breed silkworms, snails, sticks, and grasshoppers. Then again, my laundry room...

    Roach colonies and isopods

I didn’t think about CL, I think I’ll try that since I don’t want to mess with trying to shop insects, especially in this heat. Thanks!

    Roach colonies and isopods

Yes, that’s how I got into this mess, with one little baby boy panther. And then he was a pain and wouldn’t eat his roaches as a juvenile, though luckily he loves them now!

    Roach colonies and isopods

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding management of roach colonies. I currently have two large bioactive roach colonies (orange heads and Dubia). I set them up last summer with about 25-30 roaches of each type and added about 10 giant canyon isopods to each Enclosure initially just as CuC...

    Drumroll please..... Meet Bane...

Oh wow! Terrible twos, that’s funny but yikes! Veileds have such attitudes some times. Good thing you know how to handle them since you just got another! I can’t wait to see your free range wall. I really wish my husband would clean the garage so I could have space to get out there and build...

How To Feed Dubia a Watermelon

I fed my roach colonies watermelon for the first time this week, I was stunned when I went in to check and only rinds left! Guess they liked it.

    Well balanced meals!

Today my boy got two orange head roaches, a black soldier fly, a giant canyon isopod, and a stick insect. I love how easy he is to feed as an adult now, he wouldn’t eat his roaches as a juvenile but now they are staple and he loves them. Food doesn’t last long in his enclosure.

    Silk Moth Hatchig and Mating

The females have larger bodies and smaller wings then the males so they are pretty easy to sex and pair up. I currently have one lonely male moth right now, he's adorably sad.

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

I am in Denver. I do see my cham drinking off his leaves in the morning once his misters come on (because I am unable to get nighttime humidity up without blasting the fogger on high). I always thought this was fine but after reading this thread, is this method of hydrating (him linking water...

Winter food for sticks, hoppers, etc

Sorry Natalie, just realized I never replied to you. I was running two 30 second sessions (One at 8am and another at 8pm) with my new Mist King. (Until yesterday when my reservoir sprung a leak and long store short is my timer and pump both got wet and now wont work! I think I'm going to have to...

Foggers, a Tool or a Danger?

Hi, this topic is of interest to me. Can’t claim I’ve read every word in this thread or pretend that I understand it all (NOT a scientist, I just have one 13 month old Panther Cham) so I hope you guys don’t mind me commenting. After listening to the hydration podcast last summer I made some...
