Mine is the same way. He is dark ALL the time. Except when he gets mad, then he shows his color. Otherwise, he is dark brown all the time. I have asked about this before and never recieved any good information about it. Maybe you will have better results with your question though.

However, i know someone who mentioned that they feed their 5-6 month old Veiled Cham 4-6 mealworms everyday, on top of 8-10 crickets. I have read that this is bad. What can i tell this person the end result will be if he continues to do this.

I feed mine carrots, oranges, collard greens, and cricket crack all day long. I use to seperate them the night before and feed them cricket crack, but i learned that even with 150-200 crickets, they dont go through that much cricket crack. I'm guessing a pound of cricket crack is going to last...
Mine absolutely hates it, but i do it anyway. I did start doing the warm water trick and he seems to tolerate it slightly, slightly more. I too beleive its the whole thing with you, having something in your hand, spraying water at them, that scares them more than anything.
